I serve as the Head of Department (HoD) for User Support and as Head of the IP Network Engineering Unit within the Network and Infrastructure Department at the ICT Directorate of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS). In these roles, I ensure the smooth operation of computer and network systems and application software for end-users, thereby enhancing productivity. I also design, implement and manage the University’s enterprise data networks.

I am an Executive ICT Engineer with over 26 years of distinguished experience across both the private and public sectors, specialising in the delivery of advanced digital data systems, telecommunications broadband infrastructure, and enterprise network solutions. I have a strong track record in driving digital transformation and implementing scalable technologies that enhance organisational efficiency. I am also accomplished in strategic leadership, guiding diverse teams to achieve sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Prior to my current appointment, I served as the Chief ICT Assistant in charge of computer networks at UHAS. In this role, I championed and implemented the integration of the Sokode, Trafalgar and Hohoe campus networks. I also led the implementation of remote access systems, including Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and Learning Management Systems (LMS), during the COVID-19 period. Throughout my career at UHAS, I have led complex projects that drive digital transformation, implementing scalable technologies that enhance the University’s growth, efficiency and resilience.

I hold both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Information and Communication Technology from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). I am professionally certified as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). I am also a member of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA).
