About Me

I am an Assistant Registrar and currently the Head of Administration at the Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (OPVC), University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho, Ghana. The OPVC is responsible for the management of academic functions of the University and I assist the Pro-Vice Chancellor in coordinating strategies for the development and implementation academic programmes, accreditation of programmes, administration of academic facilities and policies for teaching and learning for Schools and Departments within the University.

I played a key role in the formulation and establishment of Strategic Plans and Undergraduates/Masters/PhDs Curricular Programmes Development in the Ghanaian University administration landscape with in-depth knowledge in Committees and Governing Boards work. I served as Secretary to the planning committees of local, national and international events notably the 25th Ghana Universities Sports Association (GUSA) Athletics, 2024 Global Conference on Science of Defeating Malaria Course, Maiden UHAS International Research Conference and other Statutory and Ad hoc University Committees. I also held several managerial positions including the Acting Head of the Research Operations Office, Head of Administration at the Institute of Health Research, Office of Student Affairs and School of Nursing & Midwifery, UHAS. At the Institute and Faculty levels of my higher education administration, I was responsible for research grants management and funding opportunities, Research Ethics Administrator, Management of students’ governance and welfare in the University and an oversight responsibility of financial matters. 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Political Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Certificate in Leadership in Management and Administration from the University of Ghana Business School, Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management and Consulting from KNUST. I am a Chartered Professional Administrator of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC), Ghana. Additionally, I am also a Chartered Management Consultant. I worked in Principal Administrative positions in KNUST and taught at Osei Tutu Senior High School in Akropong Ashanti. I have over 10 years experience at Higher Education Administration, Management and Consulting in the Sub-region and tertiary institutions across the globe. 

I am a Management Consultant interested in Higher Education Growth, Quality and Lean Management Research, promoting Institutional Strategic Branding and Business Processes Re-engineering.  I consult for most Public and Private Universities in Ghana and the global educational fraternities. I am a cognate member of the Centre for Rural Research and Poverty Reduction (CRRPR) and the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) - Ghana and a full member in good standing of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC) Ghana since 2020 and professionally affiliated with Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA).
