I am a licensed pharmacist, researcher and lecturer in Pharmaceutical Microbiology at the School of Pharmacy, University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Ghana. I hold a PhD and MPhil in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). I am a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana and American Society for Microbiology.
My research interest lies at the intersection of microbiology and pharmaceutical sciences, with emphasis on microbiome and pharmacomicrobiomics, antimicrobial resistance genetics, molecular epidemiology of infectious pathogens, microbial chemotherapy and the microbiological quality and safety of pharmaceutical products. Over the years, my research has been supported through grants from institutions such as KNUST (KReF), OWSD and the Commonwealth Partnerships for Antimicrobial Stewardship (CwPAMS).
