I am a distinguished public affairs and administrative leader with over 15 years of experience advancing the communication and stakeholder engagement objectives of leading academic institutions. I currently serve as Senior Assistant Registrar and Head of the Public Relations Department within the Directorate of Public Affairs (UHAS), where I shape and promote the University’s public image through strategic media relations, event management, protocol oversight and targeted public relations programmes.
I demonstrate strong negotiation skills, refined communication abilities and strategic problem solving. I combine intellectual rigour with practical expertise to navigate complex administrative environments and deliver measurable results. I perform effectively under pressure, uphold high ethical standards and build productive relationships with diverse stakeholders to lead multifaceted projects to successful completion.
I have held key administrative roles supporting the Office of the Vice Chancellor and the Office of International Programmes at the University of Health and Allied Sciences. In these roles, I supported executive decision making, drove policy implementation and strengthened institutional governance with professionalism and precision. During my earlier tenure at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), I contributed to higher education public relations, admissions administration and organisational communications.
I hold a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Publishing Studies with Administration from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. I also earned a Diploma in Public Relations from the Institute of Commercial Management in the United Kingdom. Through my professional affiliations with the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in the United Kingdom, and the Institute of Directors Ghana (IoD-GH), I actively engage in advancing best practice in marketing, governance and strategic communication.
Beyond my institutional responsibilities, I contribute to professional and community organisations where I use my leadership and service to promote positive and sustainable impact. I apply technology effectively in my work and remain committed to institutional excellence, contributing to the continued growth and global positioning of the University.
