About Me

I am an astute administrator who rose through the administrative ranks of the University as an Administrative Assistant through to an Assistant Registrar at the Directorate of Public Affairs. With over 10 years of experience at the Directorate and a beacon of institutional memory, I currently head the Documentation and Publication Department of the Public Affairs Directorate and lead a dynamic team within the Directorate responsible for reporting, editorial processes and multimedia content production in promoting the UHAS brand. 

I act as an in-house editor who reviews and revises written content for clarity, accuracy and coherence. Ensuring tone, language, style and language consistency project the in-house style of the Public Affairs Directorate. I guarantee that all documents (handbooks, brochures, etc.) are subjected to scrutiny to ensure that all information provided are factually and grammatically accurate before production. 

I coordinate the management of all the official social media handles of the University to boost visibility and reach a broader audience, showcase research works, innovations and impact of students, faculty and staff as well as build a strong and compelling online presence and reputation for the University. 

I hold a Master of Arts in Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre Arts from the University of Ghana. I have a professional affiliation with the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC). To facilitate an effective oversight responsibility at the Department, I have certifications in copywriting, creative writing, data analysis, digital marketing, email marketing, fundamentals of graphic design, social media marketing/management, fundamentals of video editing to demonstrate my commitment to executing the mission of the Department to showcase the University's academic excellence, research impact and community engagement, while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

My strategic leadership supports the mission of Public Affairs Directorate to utilize effective communication and information dissemination to propel the University into the world class stage.
