Dr Joyce Berkumwin Der is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Fred N. Binka School of Public Health, University of Health and Allied Sciences, Hohoe, Ghana. She was also the first Head of Laboratory of the UHAS Research Laboratory at the School of Public Health (2014-2016). She is a Commonwealth Scholar and has over 10 years of experience in academia and research
