I currently serve as a Senior Assistant Registrar and Head of the Recruitment, Promotion and Separation (RPS) Department at the Human Resource Directorate. In this position, I provide leadership and operational oversight for the University’s talent acquisition process, ensuring the attraction and selection of qualified employees who align with the University’s strategic objectives and academic and administrative standards. I also manage the promotion lifecycle, guiding fair and transparent advancement processes that recognize merit and institutional contribution. Additionally, I oversee employee separation practices, ensuring that transitions are handled with professionalism, compliance and respect for both faculty, staff and institutional procedures.
Before my current appointment, I served as Head of Administration at the School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences (SBBS), where I oversaw the administration and management of staff and students. My role included an oversight on academic and administrative records, coordinated school operations and supported leadership to achieve the School’s strategic objectives.
I also worked as an Assistant Registrar in the Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor, where I facilitated efficient administrative operations of the Office. In that capacity, I coordinated high-level administrative processes and also served as a liaison between the Office and other key stakeholders to enhance effective communication.
I am a Chartered Professional Administrator (ChPA) with the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants and hold a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Ghana. My academic background combined with extensive experience in university administration, positions me as a seasoned professional dedicated to institutional excellence and effective human resource personnel.
