Currently, I serve as a Principal IT Assistant in the Datacenter and IT Security Unit of the Directorate of ICT at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS). In this role, I support the management and administration of critical ICT infrastructure and enterprise systems that underpin the University's academic, administrative, and research activities.
My responsibilities include server administration, system configuration and maintenance, systems deployment and updates, application deployment and hosting, enterprise system integration, backup and disaster recovery management, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of mission-critical systems. I am actively involved in ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of datacenter services through proactive monitoring, routine maintenance, and implementation of industry best practices.
I also oversee the smooth operation of enterprise email and collaboration platforms, providing technical support and resolving user-related issues while maintaining high service standards. Additionally, I contribute to IT security initiatives by supporting access management, vulnerability mitigation, system hardening, security monitoring, and compliance with the university's security policies.
My expertise spans systems administration, cloud and on-premises infrastructure management, virtualization technologies, IT security operations, network services, backup and recovery solutions, application support, and ICT service management.
