My career goal is to become a renowned academic, clinician and researcher in pharmacy practice in the specific fields of adult-focused and paediatric oncology/haematology and pharmacovigilance (patient safety). Other pharmacy practice-related research interests include ecopharmacovigilance, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics and pharmacokinetics.
I am the Head of Department for Pharmacy Practice Examination Office (effective August 2025). I am trained in Good Clinical Practice by multiple institutions: Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine (Ghana), Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (USA) and Food and Drugs Authority (Ghana). I am also a Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) jointly trained and certified by the Food and Drugs Authority (Ghana) and the African Collaborating Centre for Pharmacovigilance and Surveillance (Ghana).
I have published over 25 peer-reviewed articles, attended several conferences and had extensive experience in postgraduate supervision. I serve PLOS One as an editor and several peer-reviewed journals as a reviewer.
