I am  a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Basic Science, School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences (SBBS), University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) HO and a member of the School's Appointment and Promotions Committee.  I was a Lecturer with the University of Education, Winneba for distance education and a Tutor with ST. Peter’s Senior High, Nkwatia-Kwahu. 

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

I had my Bachelor of Science (BSc. Hons) Degree in Physics with specialty in Materials Science and Geophysics at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi and later pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.), a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)  in Materials Science at K.N.U.S.T, Kumasi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (P.G.D.E) at the University of Education Winneba.

SUMMARY OF WORK HISTORY

My teaching career started when I was appointed as a Tutor by the Ghana Education Service (G.E.S) to teach Physics in 2003 at St. Peter’s Senior High, Nkwatia - kwahu. I held positions such as Dining Hall Master, Sectional Head for Physics, House Master for Faucold and Luanga houses. I also taught Physics to distance education students at the University of Education, Winneba at the Nkawkaw center. Currently, I teach Physics to students from the Physician Assistantship, BSc. Nursing, Medical Imaging students programmes at the undergraduate level as well as Nanotechnology at the Postgraduate level to Biotechnology students in UHAS Ghana. I am also a member of the Schools Appointments and Promotion Committee.

SUMMARY OF RESEARCH AREAS, PUBLICATIONS, AND MEMBERSHIP 

I am an accomplished researcher and have conducted extensive research in the regeneration of used engine oil using ZEOLITES and METAKAOLIN. My research interest is in Materials science, Biomaterials, Materials Physics: the synthesis and application of Zeolites and Biochar in Inhibiting Microbial Activities, Water Purification and solving some Health issues such the Treatment of Wounds and Inhibiting the growth of Cancer Cells. I have several research publications in peer-reviewed journals. I am a member of the African Materials Research Society, Biophysics in Africa, Ghana Science Association, and the Zeolite Research Team based in K.N.U.S.T, Physics Department, Kumasi.  

I am active in religious and social activities.
