I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Non-Communicable Diseases Research within the Institute of Health Research. As a public health researcher and a social-behavioural scientist, my work lies at the intersection of population studies and behavioural health, with a primary focus on addressing complex health disparities in Ghana and by extension low- and middle-income settings.
My research program examines the behavioral, social, and structural determinants of health across the life course. Key areas of focus include non-communicable disease (NCD) risk factors such as dietary behaviours, physical activity, and adiposity (BMI) alongside Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health (MNCH), and Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH). Leveraging my background in psychology and population studies, to design, evaluate, and scale evidence-based behavioral interventions aimed at improving population health outcomes, informing policy, and strengthening health systems.
