Senior research management and institutional development professional with over 18 years of progressive experience spanning higher education, research administration, grants management, consultancy, monitoring and evaluation, project implementation, research governance and resource mobilisation. Currently Head of Research Operations at the Institute of Health Research, University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), contributed to mobilising more than USD 10 milliion and providing end-to-end grants administration, compliance, contracting, funder liaison, proposal support and faculty capacity development. Demonstrated contribution to mobilising more than USD 4 million at the University of Ghana College of Health Sciences, and more than USD 2 million at Hope for Future Generations. Demonstrated institutional leadership in establishing and strengthening research and grants management functions, including setting up the UHAS Research Operations Office from scratch, developing research governance policies and grant-management systems. Strong grounding in research ethics, compliance, intellectual property, financial and project management, stakeholder engagement, proposal development, team leadership and institutional capacity building.
