Saviour Edem Vidzro is a Public Health researcher, Principal Research Assistant at the Institute of Health Research, University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), and a PhD candidate in Public Health Medicine at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), South Africa.
His current work sits at the intersection of technology and health equity, designing digital solutions that work where health systems need them most. He coordinates the Ahomka Project a 5-year initiative pioneering a culturally adapted mHealth platform for hypertension management in urban and rural Ghana. His research was recognized by the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) Early Career Grant and appears in peer-reviewed journals, reflecting a career built on innovation and a drive to make health systems work better for the people who need them most. His research spans four interconnected areas:
